Technology and sustainability continue to shape our transformation story. We are reimagining manufacturing through SmartFactory 4.0 and Project Pragati - integrating AI, sensors, and digital twins to elevate precision, efficiency, and quality. Our clean-energy roadmap is strengthening through increased renewable energy adoption and long-term green power procurement, underscoring our commitment to decarbonising the value chain. Equally, we are embedding sustainability across our supply chain, driving responsible sourcing and circular practices to ensure that progress extends beyond our operations. Meanwhile, our Stainless Academy has trained more than 50,000 fabricators, nurturing skills that make the industry safer and more future-ready. These milestones reinforce a simple truth - real progress happens when innovation empowers people and protects the planet in equal measure.

Sustainability at Jindal Stainless is not an initiative - it’s a way of operating. Our four-pillar ESG strategy, shaped by insights from over 1,400 stakeholders, guides every aspect of our business - from resource efficiency and waste reduction to responsible sourcing and governance. This year, we continued to advance toward our long-term goals of Zero Waste to Landfill by 2030, water neutrality by 2033, and Net Zero by 2050. With more than 70% scrap input maintained and zero water discharged outside premises, we are reinforcing our commitment to circularity and transparency. This strengthens a model of responsible growth—where performance and purpose are aligned, not traded off.

Our Approach to Materiality

At Jindal Stainless, materiality is about understanding what truly matters—for our business, our stakeholders, and the world we impact. We adopt a double materiality lens, assessing both how environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues affect our financial performance and how our operations influence society and the planet. This approach, rooted in global standards like EFRAG, IFRS, and GRI, ensures that sustainability is embedded in every strategic decision.
