South Korea’s Ministry of Economy and Finance has extended the provisional anti-dumping (AD) duty on cold-rolled stainless steel imports from Vietnam by three months, moving the end date from April 18 to July 18. This decision aims to mitigate potential market disruption during the ongoing dumping investigation, in accordance with the Customs Act, which allows the provisional measure to be applied for up to seven months.

The provisional AD duty rates ranges from 3.66% to 11.37%. YongJin Metal Technology (Vietnam) and its affiliates face a duty rate of 3.66%, while TVL Joint Stock Company, TVL Steel Production and Construction Joint Stock Company, and their affiliates are subject to the highest rate of 11.37%. Other Vietnamese exporters are being charged a rate of 4.79%.
