EU proposes to tag Copper and Nickel as critical metals

The Critical Raw Materials Act (CRMA) unveiled by the European Union has identified Copper and Nickel as critical metals. This will ensure speedier permits and easier access to capital. The EU had previously focused on more niche materials such as cobalt, lithium, and rare earths.
