JSHL bags reputed awards for safety and sustainability for the second consecutive year

Cementing its commitment to exemplary health, safety, and sustainability, JSHL brought home globally distinguished accolades- British Safety Council’s International Safety Award and Energy and Environment Foundation Global Sustainability Award- for the second consecutive year.
British Safety Council’s International Safety Award is a globally distinguished award that recognizes organizations’ commitment to exemplary health, safety, and well-being management. This award acknowledges the various steps taken by JSHL throughout CY2020 to ensure world-class safety standards at its workplace, while withstanding the adverse impacts of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Company was also awarded Energy and Environment Foundation Global Sustainability Award for its unique adoption of the 3-Es approach which relates energy and environment with production economics. JSHL efficiently conserves energy to reduce the cost of manufacturing, thus reducing Green House Gas (GHG) emissions. In the current financial year, JSHL received three significant awards in the field of energy and environment, including SEEM National Energy Management Award (Platinum category- Steel Sector) and first prize in the 5th edition of CII National Energy Efficiency Circle Competition 2021.
