Held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, from January 10–12, the festival has brought together a dynamic mix of architecture, design, and cinematic narratives from across the world to inspire and engage creative minds. The brand showcased the transformative potential of stainless steel through a unique pavilion installation designed in collaboration with SHROFFLEÓN, a Mumbai based award winning design studio specialised in high end bespoke residential and commercial interior and architecture projects. This installation, inspired by the traditional Indian Baoli, blended heritage and modernity, demonstrates the versatility and aesthetic appeal of stainless steel as an artistic medium.
Speaking on the occasion, Creative Head and Managing Director, Jindal Lifestyle, Deepika Jindal said, “Stainless steel has always been close to my heart—it’s a material that symbolizes strength, elegance, and endless possibilities. This collaboration resonates with our belief in honoring tradition while embracing modernity. The reflective beauty of stainless steel in this installation creates a mesmerizing interplay of heritage and innovation, embodying the philosophy that drives our brand. Through this pavilion, we’re not just showcasing design; we’re telling a story—a story of craftsmanship, creativity, and the timeless allure of stainless steel.”
Stainless steel was the centerpiece of the pavilion, embodying Jindal Stainless’ commitment to innovation, sustainability, and timeless design. The monolithic, mirror-finish stainless steel structure created a reflective and immersive experience, seamlessly blending tangible and intangible elements. Its unique properties, such as durability, corrosion resistance, and adaptability, enabled intricate craftsmanship, making it an ideal choice for this intricate installation. The pavilion highlighted stainless steel’s sustainable nature, aligning with modern design sensibilities and offering an eco-friendly solution for architectural excellence.
