Jindal Stainless’ ‘Parivartan’ to drive holistic development of Ladwa Village in Hisar

Hisar, August 21, 2026: Jindal Stainless Foundation (JSF), the CSR wing of Jindal Stainless, has initiated ‘Parivartan’, an Integrated Village Development Programme aimed at fostering the holistic development of Ladwa Village in Hisar, Haryana.

Located in close proximity to the Jindal Stainless manufacturing facility in Hisar, Ladwa Village will benefit from this comprehensive rural development initiative, which is designed to positively impact approximately 7,500-8,000 residents through a holistic and participatory approach.

Through Parivartan, JSF will implement integrated interventions across key areas including healthcare, education, women empowerment, agriculture, livelihood promotion, sanitation, environmental sustainability, community participation, and institutional strengthening. The programme aims to create long-term and measurable social impact by addressing the interconnected social, economic, and environmental needs of the community.

Moving beyond standalone interventions, Parivartan will adopt a comprehensive village development model focused on strengthening community ownership, enhancing local capacities, and creating sustainable solutions. The initiative will be implemented in close collaboration with the Gram Panchayat, government departments, local institutions, community-based organisations, NGOs, and village residents, ensuring that development priorities are identified and driven by the community.

The programme will commence with a detailed baseline survey and Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) to understand the socio-economic profile of Ladwa, identify development gaps, map available resources, and prioritise interventions based on community needs. The findings will form the foundation of a Village Development Plan, which will be prepared jointly with village stakeholders to ensure focused and effective implementation.

Regular Gram Sabha meetings, community consultations, and engagement with youth, women, farmers, teachers, frontline workers, and local leaders will be conducted throughout the programme lifecycle to ensure transparency, accountability, and active participation. Through Parivartan, Jindal Stainless Foundation aims to create aims to create a long-term impact model for inclusive growth and community empowerment.
