Jindal Stainless’ Hisar unit wins ‘Platinum’ at the 18th CII National Competitiveness & Cluster Summit 2025

Hisar, November 20, 2025: The Hisar unit of Jindal Stainless, India’s leading stainless steel manufacturer, has been conferred the Platinum Award in the ‘Energy Excellence – Large (Manufacturing)’ category at the 18th National Competitiveness & Cluster Summit 2025. The award ceremony, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, in October 2025. This recognition underscores Jindal Stainless’ unwavering commitment to advancing a sustainable industrial future through responsible resource management, the adoption of cleaner technologies, and continuous improvement in energy performance.

The award assessment evaluated the organisation’s efforts in process optimisation, sustainability integration, and innovative practices at its Hisar plant to achieve decarbonisation, in line with its commitment to attaining net zero emissions by 2050. The team’s presentation of these initiatives stood out among several leading industrial participants, earning the top honour from the esteemed jury.

The CII National Competitiveness & Cluster Summit, now in its 18th edition, is one of India’s leading platforms promoting industrial excellence, competitiveness, and sustainable business practices. The two-day summit brought together hundreds of companies from across sectors such as manufacturing, automotive, energy, and engineering who presented case studies across 11 different categories.
