Jindal Stainless’ Hisar Unit Secures Gold at CII National Electrical Safety Competition 2025

New Delhi, Hisar, Bhubaneswar, February 09, 2026: The Hisar unit of Jindal Stainless, India’s leading stainless steel manufacturer, has been conferred the Gold award for ‘Best Case Study on Electrical Safety Risk Management (Large)’. The 4th National Electrical Safety, Power Quality & Reliability Circle Competition was organised virtually by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on 16-17 December 2025 and witnessed participation from several leading organisations across sectors including automobiles, electrical switchgear manufacturing, and power.

The recognition for Jindal Stainless was driven by the company’s structured and preventive approach to electrical safety risk management across its integrated manufacturing operation in Hisar. The award-winning case study demonstrated a comprehensive framework encompassing hazard identification, risk assessment, engineering and administrative controls, periodic audits, and continuous capability building to enhance electrical safety and system reliability.

The National Electrical Safety, Power Quality & Reliability Circle Competition aims at bringing together best-in-class safety & energy professionals of the country to compete and share best practices from their respective organisations.
