New Delhi, April 28, 2022: Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited (JSHL) received the coveted ‘International Safety Award 2022 Merit’ from the UK-based British Safety Council for the third consecutive year. JSHL prioritizes the occupational as well as personal safety and well-being of its employees. In the last year, the Company reinforced its emergency management facilities by expanding its fire hydrant lines in SAF, SPD & SPD 2, and scrap yards, and installing gas flooding systems at the SPD 1 & 2. In the dire times of the pandemic, JSHL ensured strict adherence to COVID guidelines across locations, conducted regular vaccination drives for its employees and their families, executed sanitization in its plant and Hisar city, and organized wellness sessions for employees and the local community. The Company also supplied oxygen to several hospitals in Hisar and Delhi NCR. JSHL laid down an oxygen pipeline and supplied continuous oxygen for a 500-bedded hospital set up by the government at the Company’s OP Jindal Modern School premises.
