Jindal Stainless Limited wins prestigious Golden Peacock Award 2017
~Award given in recognition of innovative training practices in the steel Sector~
New Delhi, 25, 2017:Jindal Stainless Limited, one of country’s largest integrated stainless steel manufacturers has been awarded with the prestigious Golden Peacock National Training Award 2017 in recognition of the innovative training practices in the steel sector. His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Hon’ble Cabinet Member and Minister of Economy, Govt. of UAE presented the award to Mr. Amitabh Akhauri, Chief Human Resource Officer, Mr. Ratan K. Saha, Mr. Praneet Kumar and Ms. Sarwat Chishti from Jindal Stainless Limited at the ‘Golden Peacock Awards Ceremony’ in Dubai.
Golden Peacock National Training Award was instituted by the Institute Of Directors in 1998, to identify excellence in training practices at organizations. Jindal Stainless Limited won the award under this category after an extensive 3 stage assessment by the Jury members. The jury washeaded by Rt. Hon. Sir Richard Needham (The Earl of Kilmorey PC), Non-Executive Director, NEC Europe Ltd. & Chairman- Advisory Group, STERN UK. Commenting on the accomplishment, Mr. Amitabh Akhauri, CHRO- Jindal Stainless Limited said, “Our endeavour has always been to providethe best in class training to our employees and we are delighted to achieve this esteemed award.
