Jindal Stainless strengthens rural healthcare access with health camp in Kumbhiragadia

–  Over 300 residents receive free specialist consultations, diagnostic tests, and medicines

Jajpur, August 1st, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to improving access to quality healthcare in rural communities, Jindal Stainless Foundation, the CSR wing of Jindal Stainless, organised a Health Camp at Kumbhiragadia village in Jajpur district.

Around 310 people from the local communities of Tikara, Kumbhiragadia, Jagadihi, and Damodarpur availed themselves of comprehensive healthcare services free of cost.

The camp offered villagers access to specialist medical consultations, diagnostic laboratory tests, and essential medicines, enabling them to receive quality healthcare services closer to their homes. A team of four specialist doctors from the departments of General Medicine, Pediatrics, Gynecology, and Ophthalmology, supported by experienced paramedical professionals, provided medical consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and counselling to patients across age groups.

The initiative is part of Jindal Stainless’ ongoing efforts under Niramaya, its healthcare programme aimed at strengthening rural healthcare access and addressing critical health NEEDS in communities surrounding its operations.
