Reporting Objective

As an organisation committed to scalable growth, social responsibility, and accountability, Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL/Jindal Stainless/the Company) places strong emphasis on transparent reporting of its performance, strategy, value creation, and challenges to all stakeholders. By aligning with globally recognised reporting frameworks and standards, the Company upholds high standards of governance, disclosure, and business conduct.

This Integrated Report presents a comprehensive account of JSL’s value creation journey, rooted in the strength of Indian enterprise and designed for an evolving global economy. It reflects the Company’s continued use of its integrated operations to create enduring value, guided by its vision of innovation and enriching lives.

Reporting Standards and Compliance

This report has been prepared with reference to the International Integrated Reporting (<IR>) Framework, developed by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC) and now maintained under the auspices of the IFRS Foundation. JSL regards the <IR> Framework as a robust foundation for communicating how the Company creates sustainable value over time.

The report details JSL’s performance during FY26 and its long-term roadmap for responsible growth, focusing on matters material to both the business and its stakeholders. These material matters have been identified through a structured double materiality assessment, informed by EFRAG principles and globally recognised ESG standards. The report further outlines the Company’s strategic priorities and how these continue to drive performance across its business segments and operating geographies. It also describes how the Company leverages the six capitals—financial, manufactured, intellectual, human, social and relationship, and natural—to generate longterm stakeholder value and strengthen its position as a leading stainless steel manufacturer.

Scope and Boundary

This Integrated Report covers the consolidated performance of Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) and its subsidiaries for the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026. It includes material financial and non-financial disclosures relevant to the Company’s ability to create long-term value. Financial disclosures in this Report are presented on a consolidated basis, while ESG disclosures are based on the Company’s standalone performance.

The report covers key business activities, strategic developments, capital allocation, risk management, sustainability initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and governance practices across all major operating locations, including Jajpur, Odisha; Hisar, Haryana; and relevant international operations such as the NPI plant in Indonesia.

Assurance

The financial statements have been audited by the Company’s Joint Statutory Auditors, M/s Walker Chandiok & Co. LLP, and M/s Lodha & Co. LLP.

SGS India Private Limited has undertaken a reasonable assurance of the BRSR, ESG factsheet data, and the report’s alignment with GRI Standards for the period from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, in accordance with, inter alia, the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000 (Revised) and ISAE 3410.
