Women entrepreneurs venture into agri business

The CSR partner of Jindal Stainless Foundation, Sampanna Jeevika Producer Company Limited, recently ventured into agri-business activities to empower first-generation entrepreneurs amongst women from Self Help Groups (SHGs).
The CSR team of Jindal Stainless has facilitated formation of 200 women SHGs since 2008; these SHGs are engaged in small and micro-business activities, which are very beneficial for the economic empowerment of the rural women in Jajpur, Odisha. All CSR activities of Jindal Stainless are carried under Jindal Stainless Foundation, the CSR arm of the largest stainless steel producing company in India.
