Health awareness drive among women of Jajpur, Odisha

Jindal Stainless Foundation organised a 15-day mass awareness drive in the rural communities around the Jajpur plant of Jindal Stainless. The drive was to make people aware about the viral diseases and improve preparedness amongst them. Women turned out to attend these sessions in big numbers and raised queries without hesitation. Health workers, doctors and SHG members were a part of this campaign. IEC (Information, Education and Communication) material was distributed to the participants, and emphasis was laid on prevention of spread of COVID and other such highly communicable diseases.
