In 1912, an English metallurgist, Harry Brearly, accidentally
discovered Stainless Steel. In the process of discovering an alloy to
protect cannon bores in England, what came into existence was stainless
steel. Ever since, the magic of this material has become an integral
part of our lives.
From underground pipes to space, dairy equipment to pharma equipment,
coins to automobiles. Stainless Steel is everywhere. Like we like to

The Group
Jindal Organization, set up in 1970 by the steel visionary Mr. O.P.
Jindal, has grown from an indigenous single-unit steel plant in Hisar,
Haryana to the present multi-billion, multi-national and multi-product
steel conglomerate. The organization is still expanding, integrating,

Plant, India
At Hisar, Jindal Stainless has India's only composite stainless steel
plant for the manufacture of Stainless Steel Slabs, Blooms, Hot rolled
and Cold Rolled Coils, 60% of which are exported worldwide.
