At Jindal Stainless, employees are made feel at home with proper accommodation facility having all the amenities available. There are hostel facilities at both the locations Hisar and Odisha for GETs (Graduate Engineer Trainees) and DETs (Diploma Engineer Trainees); female employees too have separate hostels along with pick and drop facilities.
We have focused on providing best quality education through setting up the N.C. Jindal Public School at Delhi and Vidya Devi Jindal School & Jindal Modern School at Hisar. These institutes provide education to the wards of the employees and the community. Wards of employees with a low level of income, including workmen are provided free or concessional education.
We provide basic medical care at our premises through an occupational health center, manned by a competent doctor and a core team. All the employees are covered through medical insurance. Besides the same, employees are entitled to and can avail basic healthcare facilities at the N.C.Jindal Institute of Medical Care & Research, a 300 Bed Multi Specialty Hospital, established by Jindal Stainless at Hisar since 1968 to provide medical care to the employees and the community at large. In addition employees children immunization is available on a free/subsidized basis.
We have and employee welfare scheme to provide financial assistance to the employee/his family in the case of Death/permanent total disablement of an employee, Medical treatment to self and dependants, Assistance for Natural Calamities and to provide Retirement benefits to all regular employees. In case of death of a regular employee while in service, the family will continue to get an ex-gratia amount as specified upto a predefined time period.
